MECCA’s Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Program recognize the increased need for earlier intervention, culturally competent community services, and the importance of addressing the unmet behavioral and mental health needs of a growing multicultural population both county and state wide. Funded by the Health Care Agency of Orange County, MECCA’s PEI Program is individualized to age, language, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation and overall socioeconomic status to optimize well-being across 6 different ethnicities to promote healthy and integrated lifestyles in the community.
